I thought I’d have my shit together by now.
By 40 I thought I’d know where I was living, who I was with, what I was doing and where my life was going.
Instead, I found myself questioning quite a few of the things I once felt very certain about.
Which is slightly inconvenient, given that I’ve spent most of my adult life studying psychology and working in the mental health and personal development sector.
I know a lot about why humans do the things they do. I’ve done a lot of healing. I’ve supported a lot of other people through change.
And I’ve also learned that knowing what to do and actually doing it are two very different things.
Because life doesn’t always follow the plan.
Sometimes the life you built no longer fits. Sometimes you know something needs to change, but have absolutely no idea what comes next.
And sometimes, despite all the therapy, books, podcasts, self-development and inner work, you’re still quietly wondering:
What the fuck am I actually doing with my life?
That’s the space I’m interested in.
The messy middle.
The space between the life you’ve outgrown and the life you haven’t figured out yet.
The bit where you can be grateful and lost. Excited and terrified. Proud of yourself and quietly questioning everything.
My work brings together my background in psychology and mental health with the practices I’ve spent years exploring and working with - including sound therapy, breathwork and other mind-body practices.
But honestly, the modalities are only part of the story.
What I really care about is helping women stop overriding themselves long enough to hear what they actually want.
Not what they should want.
Not what looks good on paper.
Not what everyone else expects.
What they want.
Because maybe you don’t need another five-year plan.
Maybe you don’t need to become your “highest self”.
Maybe you don’t need to turn every painful experience into a lesson.
Maybe you just need enough space to stop listening to everyone else and hear yourself again.
That’s what this work is about.
Welcome to the messy middle.
